NICK DEGREE ˚ has become one of the leading sounds and voices of Amapiano in Canada. A veteran of the music industry he has touched and influence music and culture in Canada for some time with various brands, projects, and collectives. He has long been championing afro beats and afrohouse within his extremely eclectic sets which helped to introduce his to the sound of Amapiano in 2019. He has since risen to the top of the scene in Canada touring across the county, headlining some of Canada most sought after venues. He has supported the legendary pioneer DJ Maphorisa, Major League DJz, and Uncle Waffles. As well he has introduced the sound to the masses playing massive festivals such as Shambhala and BomFest. In his home town he has created his own brands Amapiano To The World, Amapiano Global Gala, and is the front man of Keys To The City collective who are championing the sound locally attracting attendances of hundreds people with no international headliners. Fresh off his debut release, the AMABOZA EP with tons of singles, edits and a second EP on the horizon. What’s on the horizon all points in the same direction, UP UP and UP!

It started in ‘02, as an interest of the scene and soon became the progression of a self-taught passion. Mikey Wong has infiltrated Western Canada’s house music scene and has proved to be one of the most remarkable and acclaimed DJs. In just the last few years, Mikey has proven his ability to open up for and play in front of 5000+ ppl, alongside some of the best DJs in the world (such as Dj AM, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, Claptone, Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Skrillex, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Kaskade, Eric Prydz, Pete Tong, The Swedish House Mafia and Many More).

David Stone is one of the veterans of Canada's underground dance music scene. Since starting in the 1990s, Stone remains a vital force in the DJ booth at clubs and festivals, with unparalleled versatility as an electronic music selector, honed over the years by his passion and deep knowledge of dance music’s commonality, has become a trademark, able to effortlessly transition from massive stages to deep house lounges to intimate basement clubs, developing a vibe and connection with any crowd. In addition to his busy gig schedule, Stone is the host of CJSR's popular mix show BPM, as he provides the soundtrack to kick off the evening for clubbers in the capital city, every Saturday from 6-8 pm MST / CJSR.com

Johnny Infamous

Raised in the promise land of techno - Detroit/Windsor - the Lebanese-born Silomondo Nahal traversed borders and chartered his DJ career to Alberta. Cutting his teeth in the mid-2000s in Edmonton, Seelo instantly found his first residency at Y Afterhours, the city's only late-night destination of its kind. Since then Seelo has become a fixture of Alberta's prosperous above ground and underground electronic music movement.

Seelo

Joluca, the musical pairing of Adam Johan and David Luca, is focused on creating memorable moments on the dance floor. Equally adept in the studio as they are behind the decks, Joluca delivers a debaucherous blend of underground house, garage, and disco. Their music has been released on respected labels such as True Romance, Club Bad, Desert Hearts, Altered States, W&O Street Tracks, Insomniac, Whoyostro, Rawsome Deep, Cacao Records, Fool's Gold, Percomaniacs, and more. Their tracks see regular DJ support from some of the industry's most influential DJs such as Melé, Jamie Jones, Justin Martin, Joshwa, Call Super, and Keene. They have remixed or collaborated with the likes of Lauer, Felipe Gordon, Lubelski, Life on Planets, Mary Droppinz, Smalltown DJs, BOT, Dances With White Girls, RUMPUS, Kaysin, Kid Enigma, and SOHMI. Festival highlight appearances include Bass Coast, EDC, & Shambhala. Adam is based in LA, where he runs IO Music Academy, a beloved music production school in Hollywood. David, residing in their hometown of Edmonton, is an active part of the Night Vision collective, a major player in the city's underground scene for over a decade.

Joluca

Malcs is an Edmonton DJ and core member of the Night Vision crew. He hosted the Night Vision Podcast which ran monthly for over 40 episodes alongside Trevor Oslo and featured guests from across Western Canada including Max Ulis, Esette, Junior Brown and many others. He can be found around the city playing gigs with the gang at local house institutions like 9910 and the Bower, as well as at Night Vision’s flagship event The Downtown Defrost. When he’s not obsessively digging for tunes of all BPMs and genres, he likes to unwind by testing the ability of AI to write a compelling DJ bio to…middling results.
